Greetings, everyone!
Valerie and I have not posted in months!
By the way, I'm Madge. Madge Rainwood.
Pleased to make your acquaintance through this strange medium! :)
It has been rainy lately... and breezy... "breezy" is a fabulous word, eh?
There are currently three bantam chicks in the hog house!
And more to come, as a brooding hen has silently told us.
And an unknown number of kittens are here somewhere!
(What fabulous hide-and-seek players cats are!)
Uncle Allan and brother Johnny spent the weekend!
Valerie's (and my) brother Bob went to the hospital on Sunday night!
His left eye was feeling funny, he said, and was slightly painful.
It looked awful! A local doctor thought the eye was punctured,
so, Bob, Mum, Mama Scott, and Uncle Allan went to Rochester, MN.
Johnny had already gone back to his regular lodgings.
They arrived there at three a.m. (Bob went in the ambulance).
There was absolutely nothing wrong with his eye! Praise the Lord! :)
It was simply an allergic reaction to some foreign object.
It is quite possible that it was wood dust, as Bob had been chainsawing earlier that day.
So, Mum, Bob and Mama Scott checked into a hotel and 5 a.m. and slept 'til 10:30.
Uncle Allan returned to his domicile in Minneapolis, and the rest came home.
Valerie and I had spent Sunday night at Mama and Papa Scott's house.
We were brought come to do chores Monday morning, and came home to stay that evening.
What a blessing it is to have good friends!
Now, the animals clamor for sustenance!
Adieu!
Madge
