It's been very, VERY windy today! Here are some pictures Mom took of our turkeys a while back.
Glad it's warming up again! :)

Sister No. 4 is home! She arrived yesterday with one of her wonderful college buddies. We are starting (and finishing) Christmas decorating. I cannot believe it is this Wednesday! I shall be uploading sheep photos shortly. Joyous Advent, Rowan Broom
This is, obviously, the first piece of my Pie. This Pie is named after a small, stupid sheep, named Pie. Pie was too long, we think, in the birth canal of his mother, another sheep. As a result, he had brain damage, which eventually did disappear. While it lasted though, he was piteously amusing; turning his small head over his back, til the two touched. From this, he was named Stargazing Pie. The "Pie" because he is spotted black and white; Cute as Pie! Pie is a normal lamb now; small, plump, and stupid. Pictures of Pie are hopefully to follow.
Well, Pie, here we are! It is just another day at this lovely acreage where I am staying. The kittens skittering about, chickens stealing cat scraps, turkeys wandering all over the place. I awoke this morning with the noise of a crop-duster flying low above the fields. The sunlight dappling the gravel driveway is comforting, the glimpsees of two horses in a pen are simple and quiet. Taking a moment, I imagine this farm in the rain; warm summer rain: lovely. May this day bring you peace as well. Pie it Up!
